Junior Marvin’s Wailers gig at Hamilton Live was a strong groove. It became something of an arts festival with a fantastic show of David Burnett’s photographs of Jamaica and the reggae music scene projected during the live performance. Artist William Adair had one of his gilded doors for his Golden Doors to Infinity installation project backstage, which was marked by all the musicians and singers performing that evening. The Bob Marley Door, as it came to be called, will be part of Adair’s 31-door installation in the Joshua Tree desert in 2016. A selection of Adair’s doors will be featured at an exhibit January 15 in Los Angeles at Mr Musichead Gallery.
