Govinda Gallery is pleased to present the second solo exhibition in the U..S. of paintings by Mark Dell´Isola. Dell´Isola has been working in the Pacific Islands for 20 years and has studios in Bali, Guam, and the Rock Islands of Palau. Dell´Isola received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979 from the University of Maryland. His large-scale paintings are a combination of many influences, particulary science and the environment of the Pacific Islands.

Dell´Isola has exhibited his work in New York, Zaragoza, and Guadalajara, Spain, Samoa, Palau, Bali, New Caledonia, and Guam. Two of his paintings are in the permanent collections of the New Invertebrate House, National Zoological Park, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC. He also has paintings in permanent collections at the Palau National Museum, the Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities, IberCaja Cultural Center in Zaragoza, Spain, and the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport.
