Milton Greene and Art Kane were friends during the 50's and 60's. This is the first exhibition featuring the two photographers together. Art Kane's photograph, A Great Day in Harlem, is perhaps the single most famous jazz photo of all time, the subject of a feature documentary film. Milton Greene is considered the preeminent photographer of Marilyn Monroe. His portraits of Hollywood stars are legendary.
